Welcome to Ramadan 1435 A.H (2014)

The Holy month of Ramadan is here and it is schedule to begins, Inshall-Allah, by June 28, 2014 based on moon sighting. It is a time of reflection and self renewal. Ramadan is a period of fasting, reflection, devotion, generosity and sacrifice observed by Muslims around the world. It is observed during the ninth lunar month of the Islamic calendar.

“O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint“ Qur’an 2:183
"Ramadan is the month during which the Quran was revealed, providing guidance for the people, clear teachings, and the statute book. Those of you who witness this month shall fast therein. Those who are ill or traveling may substitute the same number of other days. GOD wishes for you convenience, not hardship, that you may fulfill your obligations, and to glorify GOD for guiding you, and to express your appreciation."Qur’an 2:185
